Shipping & Return Policy
At ABC Gem Store, we want you to feel completely confident in every purchase. Each sapphire is individually selected, carefully photographed, and accurately described to ensure full transparency.
Inspection Period
We offer a 48-hour inspection period, starting from the day your package is received. This allows you to evaluate your sapphire under your own lighting and conditions.
If, within this period, you feel the stone is not the right fit, you may request a return for store credit, refund, or exchange.
Eligibility for Returns
- The sapphire must remain in its original, unaltered condition (not set, scratched, or modified in any way).
- All original packaging, certificates (if requested or included), and accompanying documentation must be returned.
- You must notify us in writing (via email) within the 48-hour inspection period before shipping the item back.
Shipping & Insurance
Most domestic and international shipments are dispatched directly from our New York office via fully insured courier services (FedEx, UPS, or DHL), with domestic transit taking 2-3 business days and international transit taking 5-10 business days.
Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility.
Upon request, we can arrange a fully insured return label, and the cost will be deducted from the final credit/refund amount.
We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
Secure Online Payments
We accept secure online payments via Stripe, one of the world's most trusted payment platforms.
When you receive your invoice, you can pay instantly using the secure "Pay Now" link included in the email — no account required.
Payments are processed with industry-standard encryption. Your card details are handled directly by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
Refunds, Store Credit & Exchanges
Approved returns within the inspection period are eligible for:
- Store Credit
- Refund to original payment method
- Exchange for another gemstone
Non-Returnable / Final Sale Items
- Custom orders
- Recut or re-polished stones
- Special-request imports
- Stones sold below cost or marked as clearance
The above items are considered final sale and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
